Our company

Tempisque Safari Adventures is located in the Guanacaste Province, a land of vast grassy plains. The average temperature is 28° C and the average elevation is 25 meters above sea level with characteristics very similar to many areas in Africa for this reason it is an ideal location for the park, as it allows many non-indigenous species to easily adapt.

In Costa Rica there are approximately 205 species of mammals, 845 species of birds and 218 species of reptiles, some of which are threatened to extinction. In Tempisque Safari Adventures we have developed a breeding area and zoo dedicated to the reproduction of wild animals in danger of extinction, and when the animals are ready they are freed into their natural habitat and protected in this project of extensive pasture land, which has been declared Animal Rescue Center and National Wildlife Refuge by the Costa Rican Government.

Tempisque Safari Adventures presently has groups of animals native from Costa Rica as well as others that have been bred in our refuge, offering visitors the opportunity to observe and also enter in contact with them.

Our mission... at Tempisque Safari Adventures is to achieve a conservation oriented culture and contribute by preserving endangered species so that future generations can enjoy and at the same time learn from the effort that we are undertaking.

Finally, if all this excitement opens your appetite, we invite you to share with us in our restaurant the delicious specialties of Costa Rican cuisine and flavour exquisite drinks from the exotic fruits harvested in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
